Judging vs Loving

Despite the religion you follow or your beliefs, judging is, and has been, a big problem in humanity. The fact that as humans we tend to judge others, makes it difficult for us to establish new relationships and new links that can promote friendships and well-being.

 

Why do we judge others? We probably do it because subconsciously we think we are better, or because we think we know better. We probably judge because we grew up seeing others judge each other. Whatever the case might be, if we could only stop judging others and instead love more, our world would be so different!

 

If we think about it, we are not even fully capable of judging. When you judge others, ask yourself this question: Do you have all the information you need to emit your judgment? It is very likely that you don't. We will never have all the information we need to emit a judgment in a fair way.

Judging others is a bad habit that can be changed. We can decide not to judge and then practice every day to stop the judging. Can you imagine what a change you can make in the world if you start doing that? Instead of judging, feel compassion and love for others. We all came to this world to learn and experience. If you are in this world trying to do your best, what makes you think others are not here trying to do the same? Would you like to be judged by people who do not have complete information?

 

Like Mahatma Gandhi said, "Be the change that you wish to see in the world". Don't wait for others to stop fighting, don't wait for others to end poverty, don't wait for others to change the world. Do your part and start by avoiding judging others.
