Overnight Oats

Prep Time

5 min.

Prep Notes

You can make the overnight oats and then just add your favorite toppings. Think of toppings as berries, bananas, apples, nuts, coconut flakes, cacao nibs.

If you want a chocolate flavor, you can add some cacao powder to your oats preparation.

Yields

1 serving

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or coconut milk)
  • 2 Tbs of chia seeds
  • 1 tsp of honey (optional)
  • 1/2  Tbs of cacao powder (optional)
  • 1 pinch of salt

Directions

Mix the oats and chia seeds in a container (add cacao powder at this time). Add the milk, honey, and pinch of salt. Mix all together and let it sit in the refrigerator overnight or at least 3 hrs.  When you are ready to eat, top them with fruit and nuts and enjoy!
